Osama Bin Laden’s son calls for ‘jihad’ against US and allies

Hamza bin Laden, son of Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, has urged followers of the group to wage ‘jihad’ on US and its allies, according to a BBC report.

In an audio message released by al Qaeda website, which it claimed to be from Osama’s son, Hamza called upon followers in Kabul, Baghdad and Gaza to wage war on Washington, London, Paris and Tel Aviv.

This is the first time the militant group has presented Hamza as an official member of al Qaeda.

Hamza’s whereabouts are not known.

During the US-led invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, the Al-Jazeera network broadcast footage that appeared to show him among Taliban fighters in Afghanistan.

Since Osama Bin Laden was killed in a raid on his compound in Abbotabad in 2011, Ayman al-Zawahiri has been leading the group.

According to documents confiscated from bin Ladens’ Abbottabad hideout by US forces, and released earlier this year, the al Qaeda supremo wanted to nurture Hamza as his successor in the group.

Hamza was due to travel to Abbottabad to join his father when US forces raided the hideout.

Islamic State executed 19 girls in the name of "Sexual Jihaad "

According to Kurdistan Democratic Party, Islamic State (ISIS) militants executed 19 women in Mosul, Iraq for refusing to have sex with the group’s fighters.

The penalty decision came on the background of the refusal to participate in the practice of sexual jihad.

Over a year ago, when the IS took over the city of Mosul, the group demanded that people handover their unmarried daughters for fighters.

“We call upon the people of this county to bring their unmarried girls so they can fulfill their duty in sex jihad for their warrior brothers in the city and anyone who will not appear will feel the full force of the Sharia upon him.”

‘Sexual jihad’, a term coined by the group refers to the practice of women offering themselves sexually to fighters in order to lift their morale to continue the fight for the establishment of the Islamic state.

The Kurdish Democratic Party spokesperson also revealed that the ranks of IS have undergone divisions in Mosul due to conflicts over the issue of money distribution and women.

Abha : A mosque in Saudi Arabia used by Interior Ministry special forces in the southwestern city of Abha came under attack of ISIS bomb attack, killing 17 people, according to the official Saudi Al-Ekhbariya news channel.

A Saudi Interior Ministry official told the Associated Press that the bomb targeted police trainees as they were in the middle of prayer.

State media reported that the mosque belongs to an Interior Ministry emergency services' post in Abha.

Ekhbariya said at least 10 of the dead were members of the security forces.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility. But blame is likely to fall on ISIS (Daesh) , whose local affiliate has claimed responsibility for a number of attacks in recent months.

A suicide bomber that struck a mosque in the eastern village of Al Qudeeh in May killed 22 people. That was the deadliest assault in the Kingdom in more than a decade, and was followed a week later by another suicide bombing attack outside another mosque that left four dead.

Russian Security Forces Kill Alleged ISIS Militants

Russian authorities announced that its security forces had killed eight terrorists having affiliation with Islamic State (ISIS), after a firefight in the North Caucasus region, west of Chechnya, reported by AFP

Russia's National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) made the announcement on Sunday evening after Russian forces ambushed the militants early on Sunday morning in the southern republic of Ingushetia.

"According to information available to the security services, the militants killed in the operation had recently pledged allegiance and became members of the Islamic State international terrorist organization. All of them were complicit in a number of crimes of a terrorist nature, including the killings of law enforcement officers and the extortion of money from entrepreneurs," the statement from the NAC said.

One of the men killed during the fight, Adam Tagilov, was said to be the leader of the group. Tagilov was suspected of being behind the December 4 terror attacks in the city of Grozny in Chechnya, according to the NAC.

ISIS declared its intention to expand its 'Caliphate' into the North Caucasus region of Russia in June, following a pledge of allegiance by the Caucasus Emirate, a large militant group based primarily in south-western Russia which was formally affiliated with al-Qaeda.

An important commander of Al-Qaeda in Pakistan, Omar Abdul Latif alias Luqman, was killed and her wife, women wing Head Tayyaba arrested in a raid by security forces in the Balochistan Province near the Pakistan-Afghan border.

According to details, Security forces have killed a senior Al-Qaeda commander and detained his wife in an overnight raid on his hideout in Balochistan province, provincial home minister said.

The security forces also took the couple's two young daughters into custody during the raid in the Chaghi district.

The minister said Umar Lateef, his wife Tayyaba, one brother and two daughters both aged under five had lived in Chaghi for the last 8-10 months after moving from the Afghan border province of Nimruz.

Punjab province had offered a reward of $20,000 for Lateef and $5,000 for his wife, who was head of Al-Qaeda's women's wing in south Punjab and Balochistan.

The home minister said that Omar Lateef was striving to establish the Al-Qaeda Subcontinent Centre in the area.

The settlers' heinous attack, which probably came from the nearby Maleh Efraim settlement, is said to be part of a continuous wave of attacks on Palestinians by settlers, reported by Al Jazeera. 

Reacting on this attack, Israeli PM Netanyahu said, What differentiates Israel from its neighbors is that “we denounce and condemn these murderers and will chase them [until we find them], while [our neighbors] name streets after those who kill children.”

Since 2004, settlers had committed 11,000 attacks against Palestinians, and that all those cases were registered by Israel as acts committed by unknowns after superficial investigations for a few hours, and then the cases were closed.

Militant Group Leader and 14 militants has been killed in exhange of fire with police in Pakistan

Malik Ishaq, Chief of banned sectarian militant group, his two sons and 11 attackers were killed in an alleged exchange of fire with police, reported by state television.

The encounter appears to have taken place as militants attacked security forces and tried to free Ishaq who was killed in the ensuing exchange of fire, security sources say.

Some people believe that it was a "FAKE Encounter" but this move has come as Pakistan is pushing for normalization in Afghanistan and major Chinese funding for an economic corridor connecting China to the Arabian Sea. 

He was wanted in hundreds of sectarian killings but government prosecutors always failed to bring sufficient evidence to get him convicted in a court.

The previous LeJ chief, Riaz Basra, was killed in a similar "encounter" with police in 2002.

A large amount of weapons and ammunition was recovered from militants. 

Ishaq was also accused of masterminding, from behind bars, the 2009 attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore, which wounded seven players and an assistant coach, and killed eight Pakistanis.

Australian Nurse accused of having link with ISIS charged with terrorism-related offences

Adam Brookman, Australian nurse accused of working for Islamic State in Syria has been charged with terrorism related offences in Melbourne, reported by state news agency.

Adam Brookman was extradited to Victoria to face court after being arrested at Sydney airport. He was charged for having links with terrorist organization Islamic State (IS). 

Court documents outline one charge relates to Brookman knowingly providing support to Islamic State by undertaking guard duty and reconnaissance between April 2010 and August 2014.

It is alleged that support would help the group “prepare or foster” a terrorist act.

The second charge relates to undertaking the guard duty and reconnaissance with the intention of supporting Isis.

Brookman arrived in Melbourne late on Saturday afternoon and was taken to the Melbourne custody centre.

Turkey arrests hundreds of suspected terrorists link with ISIS and PKK

TURKEY : Turkey started operation against terrorists, arrested around 600 people in a link with Islamic State (ISIS) and Kurdistan Worker Party (PKK).

According to the State News Agency, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said, "Turkey's antiterrorism operation against ISIS and other militant targets is not over, Turkish forces arrested nearly 600 terror suspects, bombed ISIS positions in northern Iraq and rounded up Kurdish militants in a daylong operation.

In the operation conducted by the Turkish Air Force, five PKK camps in Zap, Basyan, Gare, Avashin and Metina in northern Iraq were targeted. PKK training facilities, shelters and anti-aircraft batteries were kept in the five camps. The PKK headquarters located in the Qandil Mountains in northern Iraq were also reportedly hit in the attacks, reported by state news agency.

The group PKK is considered a terrorist organization by the United States and European Union and Turkey but PKK militants have come to the aid of Kurdish Peshmerga fighters who have been fighting ISIS in northern Iraq.

PKK also enjoying the secret support from Iran.


The Turkish airstrikes on ISIS coincided with ground troops targeting PKK militants in shelters, depots and caves around mountainous areas near the Iraq border.

This week the U.S. reached a tentative agreement with Turkey to increase U.S. and coalition access to Turkish air bases.


"We attach great importance to our cooperation with the U.S. and believe that it will result in an effective fight against the ISIS threat," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said. CNN reported

U.S designates both the PKK and ISIS as a terrorist organization

WASHINGTON : United States strongly condemned the PKK's recent terrorist attacks and called on the organization to renounce terrorism and re-engage in peace talks with Turkey in a statement released from White House.

Statement was issued just after the Turkish Air strikes against militants of Islamic State (IS) and PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party) in Iraq and Syria. 

U.S. still designates the PKK as a terrorist organization and respects its NATO ally's(Turkey)  right to self-defense.

The Kurdistan Worker Party (PKK) was formed in 1978 and has been fighting the Turkish government for an independent state. The group then shifted its goal to autonomy in predominately Kurdish inhabited regions of Turkey. 

The PKK group is designated as a terrorist organization by the United States, European Union and Turkey.

One of High ranking U.S. official commented on Turkey's military operation against the PKK, writing on Twitter, a social website, that there was no connection between the airstrikes and the recent understanding to intensify U.S.-Turkish cooperation against ISIS.

United States assured that they will fight till the end of terrorism and need cooperation from the rest of world.

SYRIA : Turkey has carried out its first ever strike against Islamic State. Turkish fighter jets have struck Islamic State targets in Syria as the country deployed military force for the first time against the terrorist group.

The office of the acting Prime Minister, Ahmet Davutoğlu, said Turkish F-16 warplanes based in Diyarbakır had attacked three ISIS targets with guided bombs at dawn on Friday, including what it described as the group’s headquarters and an assembly point. Nine Isis fighters were killed and 12 injured in the attacks, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

It is first ever military action by Turkey against Islamic State. This military action might be a response to recent ISIS attack near Turkey's border. 

Late on Friday, local broadcaster NTV reported that Turkish fighter jets had re-entered Syrian airspace to launch a further attack on ISIS targets as night fell.

A Turkish official could not confirm the report of the evening attack, although another broadcaster, CNN Turk, also reported that jets had again entered Syrian airspace.

Turkey is also to allow the US-led coalition to use its Incirlik airbase and other bases in the south of the country to conduct strikes against terrorist organization Isis, the foreign ministry said on Friday. 

The announcement marks a reversal of policy that follows a cross-border attack by the militants that killed a Turkish soldier, and a suicide bombing this week that killed 32 people in the southern province of Suruç, just a few miles from the Syrian border.

Davutoğlu said on Friday that the detention of almost 300 people linked to Isis and the Kurdistan Workers’ party (PKK) in raids across the country was just the beginning of a wider operation.

Tunisia passes anti-terror laws after deadly attacks of ISIL

The Tunisian parliament has adopted a new "anti-terror" law aimed at beefing up authorities' powers following recent deadly attacks claimed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) group, state news agency reported

According to details, Tunisian Paliament spend three days in debate over terrorism issue, the law was adopted late on Friday night, with 172 members of parliament voting in favour and ten abstentions.

The new laws impose the death penalty as a possible sentence for a range of "terror" offences and will allow authorities to detain terror suspects for up to 15 days without access to a lawyer. 


State of emergency declared in Tunisia
The president of the parliamentary assembly, Mohamed Ennaceur, called the passing of the law a "historic" moment and said it would "reassure" the nation's citizens.

The new legislation comes after a gunman massacred 38 tourists on a Tunisian beach in an attack in Sousse claimed by ISIL on June 26.

In March, an attack on the Bardo museum in the Tunis that was also claimed by ISIL left 21 tourists dead.

SYRIA :  Syrian Army has killed scores of ISIS terrorists in Daraa, Idlib  and Lattakia countryside, repelling their attack on Bouthaina hill in Sweida, reported by state news agency.

According to a military source, an army unit in cooperation with popular defense groups repelled ISIS terrorists' attack on Bouthaina hill in the northeastern countryside of Sweida, killing many terrorists.

More terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front and allied groups were eliminated during a series of operations carried out by army units in and outside Daraa.

The official news agency (SANA) reported that army units mowed down many of al-Nusra Front terrorists, who were infiltrated from Daraa al-Balad into Daraa al-Mahatta, and pounded several hideouts of al-Nusra Front and the so-called the 'al-Mothanna Movement' near Bosra square in Daraa al-Balad.

A rocket launcher belonging to terrorist organizations was destroyed south of Tafas town in Daraa countryside, a military source confirmed.

Last night, army units killed over 40 terrorists in various areas in Daraa countryside. reported state news agency.

Sad News: At least 28 Died, 100 injured After Blast Near Turkey’s Border, ISIS were behind attack

At least 28 people have died and 100 injured in the result of explosion at a rally in the southwestern Turkish town of Suruc, on the border with Syria, Turkey’s Interior Ministry said.

The ministry said the blast was a result of a terrorist attack, but no one has yet claimed responsibility, but ISIS involvement could not be ignored, according to CNN Turk.

“Our security forces took all necessary measures to ensure the safety of our citizens,” the ministry said in a statement.

“We condemn those who carried out this treacherous attack targeting peace and tranquility in our country,” the ministry said.

The governor of Sanliurfa Province, Izzettin Kucuk, said it was likely a suicide attack, the BBC reported.

Senior government officials told both the AP and Reuters that early indications suggested ISIS were behind the attack.

The attack took place in Amara Central Park in Suruc, a short way across the border from the conflict-hit Syrian city of Kobane, which has been the scene of intense battles between ISIS militants and Kurdish forces.

14 Algerian soldiers killed by Al Qaeda Affliates

NICOSIA: Al Qaeda's North African branch said it killed 14 Algerian soldiers in an ambush southwest of the Algerian capital, the deadliest attack on the army in over a year.

The El Khaber newspaper, citing security sources, reported earlier in the day that troops were killed by a terrorist group on the road to Tifran, a wooded area in the south of Ain Defla province, 140 kilometers from the capital.

Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) claimed the attack in an unverified statement posted online late on Saturday night.

“The knights of Islam have, on the first night of Eid killed 14 soldiers in an ambush on an army platoon in the area of Djebel Louh,” it said, adding that the attackers managed to escape unharmed after seizing the dead troops' weapons.

The defence ministry has made no official statement on the attack, but the news was widely circulated on social media and some facebook users posted pictures of alleged victims.

The ministry of defence said in a statement that 102 militants were killed, captured or surrendered to security forces in the first half of 2015.


The Ain Defla region was considered a hub for militant groups during the 1990s, but there has been a drop in militancy in Algeria in recent years.

Saudi Arabia has arrested 431 people having strong links with ISIS

Statement issued by Saudi Arabian Interior ministry said that they have arrested 431 people suspected of belonging to Islamic State. 

According to details, the arrested people were also involved in bombing on mosques, diplomatic missions and government officials. Proofs of having strong link with Islamic State were also found.

"The number arrested to date is 431, most of them citizens, in addition to participants from other nationalities ... six successive suicide operations which targeted mosques in the Eastern province on every Friday timed with assassinations of security men were thwarted," the statement posted on the official news agency SPA said.

The news agency further said, "Terrorist plots to target a diplomatic mission, security and government facilities in Sharurah province and the assassination of security men were thwarted,"
