Afghan Spokesman said that Taliban Leader died in 2013 in Pakistan, this news was broken by Afghan Spy Agency.

Under Omar's leadership, the Taliban offered safe haven to al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, precipitating the U.S. military action against Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan after the terror attacks of September 11, 2001.

According to sources from Afghanistan, ISIS wants to enter into Afghanistan after establishing its strong influence in Iraq and Syria. Therefore this terror group is in contact with local Taliban Leadership, who are joining ISIS group.

Taliban group is no more strong now.

The News from Afghan Agency raises questions about the leadership of the group that allied with al Qaeda, fought a war with the U.S. and is now divided over, some are joining ISIS.

We have destroyed the base of ISIS in Afghanistan, says Afghan Official

The remaining Taliban wants peace talk with Afghan Government.

We can say that ISIS is going to emerge as new terror group in Afghanistan, Mullah Omar's death news will benefit ISIS as Taliban can get support from ISIS which is already organized terror group, after this news local terror group can join ISIS, or declared them as ISIS Afghanistan wing.

The U.S. combat mission in Afghanistan ended last year, leaving the Afghan military to lead the fight against the Taliban. The thousands of NATO troops that remain in Afghanistan are there in a training and support role.

The U.S. government offered a reward of up to $10 million for information leading to Omar's capture.

There are about 10,000 American troops in Afghanistan and US President B.Obama has said there would be no more than about 1,000 by the end of 2016.
